18th FEBRUARY 2021 - TREE PLANTING
A variety of flowering trees planted this week. Two Great White cherry trees to remember the hard work both David and Sue White contributed to the woodlands and our community. Plus a variety of fruit trees to further support the bee friendly spaces being introduced.

1st APRIL  2021 - PREPARING GROUND FOR PLANTING

It's so good to get back out to a place we enjoy looking after. Today we discussed the management plan with our local ecologists and it's so nice to gain extra knowledge and suggestions on developing and sustaining our local environment. Thank you Nadine for supplying the wildflower plugs and bluebell bulbs, ground prepared and ready to plant. Watch this space to see how our pollinator project develops towards the summer.

4th APRIL

Bluebells and a mix of wild flower plugs donated by Blaenau Gwent CBC planted this morning together with a few rotting logs for a few local invertebrates
