1st APRIL 2021 - PREPARING GROUND FOR PLANTING
It's so good to get back out to a place we enjoy looking after. Today we discussed the management plan with our local ecologists and it's so nice to gain extra knowledge and suggestions on developing and sustaining our local environment. Thank you Nadine for supplying the wildflower plugs and bluebell bulbs, ground prepared and ready to plant. Watch this space to see how our pollinator project develops towards the summer.

JUNE 2021 - A POLITE REQUEST
Finally starting to fill the flower beds, funded by the Better Futures Fund Tai Calon Community Housing.
When parking at the entrance, please respect these. Too many times I have had to reaassmble them due to cars bumping into them. You wouldn't do it to your own wall so please don't bump our boxes. Thank you.
JULY 2021
All 3 boxes now filled and ready to populate. Help our pollinators and donate a flowering annual or perennial and pop it in one of our boxes the next time you visit. A big thanks to our local supporting businesses for providing the materials to construct and fill our boxes, your continued support is very much appreciated.

JULY 27th 2021 - VISIT FROM LOCAL M.P NICK SMITH
Great to catch up with John Hillier from the Beaufort Ponds and Woodland Preservation Society this #LoveParksWeek ,to hear about what’s been going on at one of our fantastic green spaces.
The ponds were a lifeline to many in getting out for a walk during lockdown and it was brilliant to hear that the area also became a focal point for people to leave painted rocks in tribute to our NHS workers.
The volunteers continue to do a brilliant job at the Ponds, creating a lovely place to take a walk and maintaining a vibrant woodland and healthy habitat for bees and other insects.
