From the Chandlers Road Entrance along the south bank of the Lower Boat Pond towards the Little Lane car park.

The Little Lane car park at the east end of the lower Boat Pond then up Little Lane to the top entrance gate, where there is a great view of both Boat Ponds and a large part of the woodlands site

This video of the main entrance to the Woodlands at Highlands Road, shows the car park, with one parking space for Blue Badge owners, plus one other space.

It also shows the entrance gate designed by local schoolchildren,  a gate for wheelchair access, and the Interpretation Panels about the Ebbw Fach Trail.
