22nd July 2020 - IMPORTANT NOTICE
Relaxing lockdown has now allowed us to reopen the car park. Grounds maintenance is complete and parking is now restricted to one vehicle plus one parking space for Blue Badge holders. Please continue to respect social distancing guidelines whilst also respecting housekeeping procedures, using the multiple bins around the park.
We have seen an increase in popularity over the past few months, which does make the Highlands Road entrance very congested. May I politely ask you to also use car parks located at Little Lane, Bangor Road and at The Beaufort Theatre
, where there is a lovely cafe that should be opening soon when conditions allow. Please don’t forget that we are a volunteer organisation that relies on local funding support to keep the park in the condition it is. If you are able to support us please click HERE for further details.
24th July 2020 - Notification of fishing at Beaufort Woodlands

Our aims are to ensure that a sustainable diverse environment is maintained, with little impact from the wider community. Fishing of the ponds has been supported by our society as part of an inclusive society that encourages well being and development. This has been respected for many years and we hope that following some basic guidelines we can continue to protect our precious environment for future generations. Fishing from within the waters is therefore prohibited and should only take place from the banks, as described in the Beaufort LNR Ecological Management Plan. If you require details of this plan please contact the
