2007 - THE L.A.M.S TEAM
The construction of the new pathway network, hedging and new fencing, was undertaken by Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council's L.A.M.S (Landscape and Access Management System) team led by John Morgan. The team were given work experience, enhancing future employment possibilities.
The society was very impressed by the team's work, which was often carried out in very poor weather conditions.
Mr Saraj Guha is an artistic metal worker from Carmarthenshire who worked from local schoolchildren's designs to produce the excellent gates and railings at the various site entrances. He can be contacted by Tel : 01558 669009.
2007 - TOWNSEND LANDSCAPING
Townsend Landscaping undertook the work in building the stone walling at some of our entrances and also the heather planting at Blaen-Cendl.

GOWER CHARCOAL AND WOODLAND COMPANY
Mr Matt Carroll of Gower Charcoal & Woodland Company was commissioned to build a new bridge to connect the pathway around the Upper Boat Pond. the result of his work, pictured below, is one of the best features of our Woodlands site and probably the most photographed.

2007 - ART MATTERS
Art Matters is a local company, based at Gilwern, Near Abergavenny, and specialise in graphic design and illustration. They designed the Information Panel located at the Little Lane Car Park and the Blaen Cendl Entrance.
