JAN 2020 - Five areas of beauty in Blaenau Gwent are set to be declared as new nature reserves.
The areas which could be designated as nature reserves are Beaufort Hill Ponds and Woodland, Central Valley in Ebbw Vale, Garden City, Parc Bryn Bach near Tredegar and Sirhowy Hill Woodlands.
Four of the five sites have been put forward for declaration previously, but they have been prevented due to disputed land and boundaries which have now been resolved. To find out more, please click on the link to the South Wales Argus report
